E-signature for quotes
Send a quote to your customer to sign online. They don’t need an account or an app: they open a private link, read the quote, and type or draw their signature. When everyone has signed, the quote is Accepted and you get a sealed PDF with a certificate of completion.
Send a quote for signature
- Open the quote. In its Signatures card, choose Send for signature.
- Choose the signer: one of the account’s contacts, or anyone by name and email.
- Optionally, add a countersigner from your team. They sign after the customer, with their own link.
- Add a message for the email, and how long the link stays valid (7 to 60 days).
- Choose Send for signature. The quote’s current PDF is the document they sign.

| Create the order | Creates a draft order from the quote. | Off |

Questions
- Is an electronic signature legally valid?
- Electronic signatures are widely recognised for commercial agreements, and CRMSix keeps the evidence: consent, identity by email, timestamps, IP addresses and a tamper-evident fingerprint. For documents that need a specific kind of signature by law, check with your legal adviser.
- The customer says the link doesn’t work.
- It may have expired or been cancelled, or they signed already. Check the request on the quote, and send a new one if needed.
