Booking pages

A booking page is your own link, such as my.crmsix.com/book/your-company/priya. Customers choose a meeting type and one of your free times, and the booking becomes a meeting in CRMSix on their contact or lead, with an invitation to both of you.

How it works

  • Only free times. The page offers times within your weekly hours, never over another meeting of yours in CRMSix, or a busy event on your Google Calendar when you’ve connected Google.
  • Straight into CRMSix.A booking is matched to the customer’s contact by email, else their open lead. Someone new becomes a lead, owned by you.
  • Invitations for both. You and the customer get a calendar invitation. The customer’s has a private link to cancel or choose another time.
  • One page each. Each person sets up their own page in My Settings → Booking page. No admin setup is needed.

Set up your page

  1. Go to My Settings and choose Set up under Booking page.
  2. Check the page address. It starts with your organization’s sign-in name, then your own part, such as your name.
  3. Add a headline and introduction, and if you like your job title, a photo and up to four highlights (one per line). They’re shown in the blue panel beside the calendar, with your photo and title under “Meet with”. Add the photo after you’ve saved the page once.
  4. Add your meeting types, such as a 15-minute intro call and a 45-minute demo, each with a length and an optional description.
  5. Choose your time zone and the hours you’re available each day. A day can have up to four time ranges, such as 09:00–12:00 and 14:00–18:00.
  6. Set the booking rules and where you’ll meet (below).
  7. Tick Take bookings and choose Save. Then Copy link and share it in emails, your email signature or your website.

Booking rules

  • Minimum notice: how soon a customer can book. With 4 hours, at 10:00 the first time offered is 14:00.
  • Bookable up to: how many days ahead the page offers times, from 7 days to 6 months.
  • Gap around meetings: free time kept before and after each of your meetings, so they don’t run back to back.
  • Most bookings a day: once a day has that many bookings from your page, it shows no more times.

Meeting times start every meeting length up to 30 minutes (every 15 minutes for a 15-minute meeting), then every half hour.

Video links and location

  • Google Meet: each booking gets its own Meet link, made on your Google account. Connect Google first in My Settings → Connected accounts, and your organization needs Google Meet turned on.
  • Zoom: each booking gets a Zoom meeting on your organization’s Zoom account. An admin connects Zoom in Settings → Zoom.
  • Location: a place or a note such as “I’ll call you”, shown on the page and in the invitation.

If a link can’t be made when someone books (for example, Google is disconnected), the booking still goes through without one, and you can add a link to the meeting yourself.

What customers see

  1. They open your link and see three steps: Select date & time, Your details and Confirmation. With more than one meeting type, they pick one in the blue panel. Times are shown in their own time zone, which they can change above the times.
  2. They enter their name and email (phone, company and a note are optional) and choose Confirm booking.
  3. They get a calendar invitation by email. Its link lets them cancel (with an optional reason) or choose another time from your free times.

The page is in the customer’s language when it’s one of CRMSix’s languages, and they can switch it at the bottom.

In CRMSix

  • The meeting is on the customer’s contact or lead, assigned to you, with you both as attendees. Its Source is Booking page, and its description has the customer’s note.
  • With Google Calendar sync on, it’s added to your Google Calendar too.
  • When the customer moves it, the meeting moves and everyone gets the new time. When they cancel, the meeting’s outcome becomes Cancelled with their reason in the notes; it stays on the record.
  • Your booking page lists your upcoming bookings, with links to each meeting and customer.
  • You can still edit or delete the meeting as usual. If you cancel it in CRMSix, the customer’s link shows it as cancelled.

Tip: Leads from your page use the lead source Booking page if your organization adds that value to Lead Source (Settings → Picklists), otherwise Web. That lets reports show how many leads book a meeting first.

Questions

Can two people book the same time?
No. Each booking is checked again when it’s confirmed. If someone else took the time a moment earlier, the customer is asked to choose another.
Does it see events on my Google Calendar that aren’t from CRMSix?
Yes, once you’ve connected Google. Events marked busy block their time; events marked free, declined invitations and cancelled events don’t.
How do I stop taking bookings for a while?
Untick Take bookings and save. Your link then says the page isn’t available. Customers who already booked can still open their link and cancel.
Can I hide one meeting type without deleting it?
Yes. Untick Offered on that type and save.
Is there protection against spam?
Yes. A hidden field catches bots, and one visitor can make at most five bookings in ten minutes.
Do booking pages work in a sandbox?
No. Booking pages and bookings aren’t copied to sandboxes, as they’re for real customers.
I don’t see Booking page in My Settings.
Booking pages may be turned off for your organization. Contact CRMSix to turn them on.
